Pakistani pop icon, Ali Zafar, has signed his third Bollywood movie “London, Paris, New York” produced by Goldie Behl and directed by a debutant director Anu Menon.
The director has casted the beautiful Aditi Rao for the lead female role along with the Pakistani musician. Rao started her professional career in 2006 with a Malayalam movie and currently working in a high profile venture “Rock
Star” directed by an Indian famed director- Imtiaz Ali.
“London, Paris, New York” revolves around the journey of love between Nikhil (Ali) and Lalitha (Aditi) as they meet in three different cities. The Romantic comedy will take you to sweet ride and promises a good time.
Ali Zafar started his Bollywood career from “Tere Bin Ladin” speaking on his upcoming movie, Ali said:
“It’s a very feel good, natural film. We have tried to keep it as real and as believable as possible. What we have tried to do is make a film that will make you fall in love with the film, the story and with the characters. It’s
a very simple, nice, sweet, interesting love story.”
After the success of Yash Raj Film “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan”, Ali Zafar has increased his Bollywood demand and the singer-cum-composer believes that his latest venture would be as good as his previous movie.
“It’s a very feel good, natural film. I mean like two people in real life, walking and talking and the crew was actually shooting it. We have tried to keep it as real and as believable as possible.” Zafar was quoted as saying.
Besides justifying his character in a lead male role, Ali has written some of the movie songs for which he is excited. He said:
“For London, Paris, New York, I am composing the music, writing the songs and singing them as well. I hope I live up to expectations, if any. You will see that in my future projects as well”.
Reports in India suggest that the shooting of the movie has started in various locations including London and Paris while some of the scenes will be filmed in America. The movie will hit the stores in the first quarter of next
year.
