Apple iPhone 4S craze hits Hong Kong on Thursday
The iPhone 4S fever, which has infatuated the mobile phone users all over the world, gripped the people of Hong Kong on Thursday, a day before the launch of the smart phones in the Southern Chinese City.
According to the media reports, more than 1500 fans of iPhone gathered outside the Apple Stores which included people from all age groups. The families with children, young boys and girls and even elderly people were in attendance with mats, chairs and blankets
in order to spend all the night outside the store and become first in Hong Kong to purchase the new Apple iPhone 4S on Friday morning.
The weather was cold and it even started raining however it didn’t stop people from staying outside the apple store on Thursday night without a proper shelter.
A local bank worker Man Chow, who took a leave from the office to join the queue, was very excited on the launch of the iPhone 4S and stated that a scuffle was about to broke a number of times due to a large number of people wanting the Smartphone first.
“A scuffle nearly broke out several times. It was such a mess, there was no proper arrangement. We had to stand and queue last night even though it was raining and it was very cold. We don’t know whether there’s a quota for each customer but I want to get
as many iPhone 4Ss as I can,” Man Chow said.
According to the company’s record, more than four millions phones has already been sold since its world debut in the markets like France, Japan, Germany and Australia on 14th October and the number is expected to increase substantially as Apple
continues its journey to launch iPhone 4S in different parts of the world.
The previous version of the iPhone didn’t receive much popularity due to reception problems. However, considering the consumer reports and product reviews of the new model, iPhone 4S is not only gaining enormous popularity, the demand of the smart phones
has already exceeded.
