Egyptian authorities shut down the Pyramids in fear of magical activities taking place on 11-11-11
According to reports the antiquities authority in Egypt ordered the closure of the Khufu Pyramid in Giza, Egypt out of fear of any mysterious or magical activities that may have been expected to take place at 11 am on the morning of November 11, 2011.
Reports suggest that the concerned authorities feared that there may be mystical or magical activities taking place in the vicinity of the Khufu Pyramid. Khufu Pyramid is the greatest of the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
The Pyramids of Egypt have been one of the greatest tourist attractions in the world, because of their complex structures and because they are one of the largest man-made buildings ever made.
There have always been mysterious claims about how the Pyramids came into being, as such great structures would have been nearly impossible to build around 5000 years ago, when they were built.
Although historians and scientists have claimed that there is no mystery about how the Pyramids came into being, however it is widely claimed that it took the builders a monumentally great amount of time to finish building each Pyramid.
The Pyramids are known as the tombs of the Pharaohs that ruled Ancient Egypt and a number Pharaohs are buried inside these great structures. They are also believed to be home to great treasures that were buried next to the Pharaohs of that time.
Concerning November 11’s events the Pyramid, Khufu, was particularly made the centre of attention and authorities ensured that no one was allowed access to it. The actions of the authorities have raised many questions all over the world, as taking actions
out of the fear of the supernatural is often known to spark human interest.
The authorities denied any reports about planned ceremonies expected to take place in the vicinity of the Giza Pyramids. Furthermore, the authorities added that there was nothing extraordinary to report concerning the Pyramids on 11-11-11.
Authorities even made claims that the closure was due to maintenance purposes, however such claims are less likely to be believed.
It is hard to comment whether there was actually something taking place at the Pyramids or whether the Egyptian authorities had taken Friday’s date too seriously. However, it was clearly unexpected that no one was allowed access to the Khufu Pyramid around
11 am on 11-11-11.
