Mobilink Foundation shows solidarity; supports Disabled Welfare Association

Country’s top most leading telecom organization Mobilink is showing solidarity for Disabled Welfare Association (DWA) and promised to extend their support for this human cause with full passion from their plate form of Mobilink Foundation.

Its management arranged a gathering where they gave away wheelchairs, tricycles and ration bags in Karachi on Thursday in the presence of many disabled individuals.

The company’s Director of Public Relations and CSR Omar Manzur said, “At Mobilink, it is our firm belief that such disabilities do not impose any limitations on potential and capability. People with disabilities are an essential part of our society, and
as before Mobilink remains at the forefront of supporting their needs through the Mobilink Foundation.”

Several Mobilink employees participated as volunteers and handed out several items to the DWA representatives which brought smiles on their faces. These items were an essential need for many adults and children who are suffering from different physical illnesses.

It was a very appreciative gesture from a well established organization who also knows how to give back their little pool of financial as well as moral share which will eventually provoke other organizations too to support these kinds of welfare associations
in abundance.  

Regarding DWA, it was established in 2000 and situated in Karachi and now working in many areas of Sindh with a single slogan of helping those needy ones who do not even have enough resources to cope with their physical disabilities properly, including provision
of wheelchairs, tricycles and finances to support their physical impairments.
