Richard Muller admits that the globe is getting warmer

Richard Muller, a well known scientist from the University of California, has finally admitted that the globe is actually getting warmer.

Muller, who was a global warming sceptic, recently conducted a study to find out that he was actually wrong in saying that the earth was not getting warmer.

The scientist was very popular amongst the ones who did not believe in the global warming theory, but might face some criticism now.

He recently headed Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature study (BEST) in order to find the truth behind the global warming theory and the results clearly indicated that he had been wrong in criticising the theory for all these years.

According to Muller, “Over the last two years, the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature Project has looked deeply at all the issues and obtained more than 1.6 billion measurements from more than 39,000 temperature stations around the world
and discovered that about one-third of the world’s temperature stations have recorded cooling temperatures, and about two-thirds have recorded warming.”

The American scientist further went onto say, “Over the last two years, the Berkeley Earth Surface Temperature Project has looked deeply at all the issues.
Global warming is real. Perhaps our results will help cool this portion of the climate debate.”

Global warming has become a very serious issue and countries need to react to the situation very quickly before things get out of control.

Recently, The International Energy Agency (IEA) has issued a warning that the world needs to react soon before an ‘irreversible’ climate change occurs.

According to a report from the IEA, there are only five more years left for the world to react otherwise things will be out of control.

The report also said that the carbon energy system has played a negative role in affecting the climate of the world and the world needs to come to an agreement over a substitute for such energy, which is harmful for the environment.

The climatic changes have brought severe floods in different parts of the world and thousands of people have died due to this in the past year with millions left homeless.
