Strings completes “Gillette Grooming Gurus” campaign 

P&G’s men’s grooming brand, Gillette, had announced its partnership with Pakistani rock-cum-pop band “Strings” earlier last month while introducing the new Gillette Mach 3 sensitive razor.

Reports in Pakistan suggest that “Strings” have now completed their university tour as part of the campaign after conducting live concerts in major cities of Pakistan including Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi.

The Pakistani famed band, comprises of Faisal Kapadia and Bilal Maqsood, first rocked the Al-Hamra open theatre where hundreds of young boys bought the new Gillette to their homes and ended their campaign with an
exhilarating concert at the garden area of Beach Luxury Hotel.

Over the years, Gillette have attracted interest from their potential segment of customers and now their innovative strategy to introduce the Pakistani heart-throb singers into it is a clear indicator of their promotion among youth.

The program is intended to reach the youth of nation along with the star duo to give the youngster a lift in their confidence and to encourage them to feel better than ever in everything they do.

Faisal and Bilal, who are also working as a brand ambassador for popular clothing brand “Levis”, have themselves admitted that it was a pleasure to tip the Pakistani youth about grooming through an exciting campaign led by Gillette.

“Gillette Grooming Gurus campaign has been an amazing experience for us. Gillette is one brand almost all males are associated with since the time they start shaving and it was a great honour for us to partner with Gillette to
fuel energy and confidence in the Pakistani youth.” Bilal was quoted as saying.

With Faisal and Bilal are happy to support Gillette cause, the multinational company is delighted itself to unleash them as their brand ambassador.

While speaking to the media, the brand manager of Gillette, Salman Yousuf, admitted that the company is delighted to unveil “Strings”, who are equally famous among the youth if Pakistan.

“We were looking for the best, and we felt Maqsood and Kapadia were the perfect match. Gillette is aimed at making men feel and be their best, be it in sports, music, or any other profession or field and this is what it aims to
highlight through Strings. ” Yousuf said.
