Katrina Kaif not signing a music album with Ali Zafar in near future  

There were a lot of noises in the air pertaining Katrina Kaif’s music album with the Pakistani singer-turned-actor, Ali Zafar. However, now Ali, who developed friendship with Katina while participating with her in the film ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, has confirmed that the project is not happening in the near future.

Reportedly, Bollywood’s diva, Katrina Kaif, was all set to sign for Ali Zafar’s album. Though Ali admitted he and Katrina have plans to make an album, he said they have not planned anything officially as of yet.

“Me and Katrina are good friends and whenever we meet we like to jam and discuss music, play the guitar. But plans to record something professionally is not in the current scheme of things. It is not happening in the near future,” Ali told PTI.

The 31-year-old Ali released his last album ‘Jhoom’ on February 14, 2011 and since then people are anxiously waiting for his new album. Nevertheless, when Ali was asked about it he said he is not concentrating on the albums right now, as he is busy doing films.

“I keep making music now and then but right now I am busy with films, so no album as such is in the pipeline. My last album was `Jhoom` which was more of a Sufi one. I usually take 2-3 years time to come out with an album,” he said.

Ali Zafar will be seen playing a lead role in the upcoming film ‘London, Paris, New York’, which is all set to release on March 2, 2012. Meanwhile, Aditi Rao Hydari will play a role opposite to him.

‘London, Paris, New York’ is a much-anticipated film and one of the main reasons why the film has created so much hype among the people is music, which has been composed by Ali Zafar. A few days back while promoting ‘London, Paris, New York’ Ali performed two tracks live in front of the audiences and he got a great response.

So by keeping all the facts in front, it is fair to say that if Katrina and Ali make an album they will certainly get a great response from the audiences since both stars have a huge fan following.
