The death of a loved one

When a loved one passes away, it seems as if that person has taken away a huge chunk of you with him. There is a feeling of emptiness that can neither be seen nor felt by others. Even the person who has suffered the lass seems incapable of putting his grief and emotions into words.

The world is a cruel place to be in, with nearly everyone scavenging for personal and selfish gains. There are very few people who are willing to put their own interests aside and go out of their way to make life paradise for others. These people lend their ears when someone needs to talk, lend their support when someone lacks courage and confidence, lend their shoulder when someone needs to cry,

While there is no doubt that whatever God does, it has a purpose. However, it still becomes extremely difficult to understand why He tests his people. This world may be temporary, but it sure is thorny. There are vultures and wolves sitting at every corner, waiting to pounce on you. Life is difficult, but some people make it bearable.

Unfortunately, the departure of those people leave you feeling vulnerable, clueless as to where you go from there.

Death is a reality that is going to consume us all one day. It is a depressing fact, but sadly nothing cannot be done about it.

May God give everyone the strength to cope with the loss of their loved ones and help them move on. Amen!
