Manny Pacquiao insists that Floyd Mayweather junior doesn’t want to fight

The eight-division world champion and the current WBO welterweight champion, Manny Pacquiao, has insisted that his arch-rival Floyd Mayweather junior, who is a five-division world champion and the current WBO welterweight champion, doesn’t want a fight with him and he is doing every possible thing to avoid him once again.

The undefeated American legend, who holds an incredible record of winning all of his 42 professional fights, including 26 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, challenged Pacquiao for a May 5 fight but his offer was turned down by the Filipino star when he said that he will not have a 50/50 split with him.

However, despite a series of failures, Pacquiao is still hoping that Mayweather will realize he is reasonable in his stand of getting a 50/50 share in the pay-per-view income.

The 34-year-old Mayweather thinks he is the biggest draw in the sport of boxing and therefore he deserves more money than Pacquiao. Nevertheless, Pacquiao, who is currently rated as the best pound-for-pound fighter on the planet, also has the same thoughts about himself.

“I am satisfied with my accomplishments in boxing,” said Pacquiao.

“It is clear that he doesn’t want the fight, and I can’t do anything about it. This fight is going to be great only if it happens,” Pacquiao, the congressman of the Lone District of Sarangani, said.

The Fighting Pride of Philippines, Pacquiao, who carries a record of winning 54 of his 59 professional fights (2 Draws), with 38 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout, is currently gearing up for a fight with Timothy Bradley, which will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Though Pacquiao will enter the ring as a red-hot favourite, Bradley looks in full confidence since he believes all the pressure will be on Pacquiao.

“All the pressure is on him, because he’s supposed to demolish me,” Bradley said. “He’s got all the pressure on him. That’s why they started camp early.”

“He knows exactly what kind of tenacity I’m going to bring in that fight… so I think he is going to prepare himself very well and be the best that he can be to try and take me out,” he added.

Well, all said and done, let’s see if Pacquiao overcomes Bradley test and somehow sets up a dream-fight with Floyd Mayweather junior.

Really? Seriously? Come on, lets be real!!! We all know that Floyd is GREAT, but we also know that Floyd is about his MONEY. So when greatness and money are in the same sentence Greatness deserves more. Manny is good, but at the same time he is NOT good enough to make what Floyd makes. IF he was he would have. True he can pull PPV numbers, true he do fight more, but at the same time Floyd have GREAT numbers, but Floyd fights on Floyd’s terms. Manny is always talking about boxing this and boxing that so money shouldn’t matter. Floyd talks about boxing and money and with him it goes hand in hand so both will always matter. Plus with the money Floyd offered him is going to max any dollar amount he has ever made, so what’s the problem again? Floyd, Scared? NEVER! Floyd, a smart business man? ALWAYS!!!
