Marvel Avengers – lives up to its hype 

Stan Lee’s The Avengers hits the big screens on 4th May in United States. It has a production budget of $220 million and is directed by Joss Whedon. The epic super hero flick features an ensemble cast of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris
Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson.   

Nick Fury (played by Jackson) of S.H.I.E.L.D, an international peace keeping agency, brings together a tandem of super humans including the likes of Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow and Hawkeye to form the Avengers. Their
mission is to protect the Earth from Loki (starred by Hiddleston) and his army. 

The movie was released on 11th April worldwide and it has already bagged $178.4 million. It lived up to its hype and received a Certified Fresh Rating of 95 per cent at the review aggregator site, Rotten Tomatoes. The site’s general consensus states, “With
a script that never forgets its heroes’ humanity and no shortage of super powered set pieces, The Avengers lives up to its hype — and raises the bar for Marvel at the movies.”

Peter Travers of the Rolling Stone gave an amazing rating of 3.5 out of four and stated, “All hail Joss Whedon, the warrior king of this dizzying, dazzling 3D action epic. The Avengers is Transformers with a brain, a heart and a working sense of humour.”

New York Daily News’ top film critica, Joe Neurmaier gave a spectacular perfect score of five out of five. He was quoted, “This mega-entertaining "Avengers" film is something comic fans have dreamed of since Marvel debuted the title almost 50 years ago.”

All in all, the movie is a MUST watch for all genre and is a great way to spend time with your friends and family.
