Govt. to constitute investigation team in Arsalan case

Islamabad: A statement issued by the office of the Attorney General of Pakistan’s office said that the government will form a team to probe into Dr Arsalan Iftikhar’s case.

On Thursday, while concluding the case and giving its verdict on the Arsalan Iftikhar suo moto case, the Supreme Court gave a written order to the Attorney General Irfan Qadir directing him to take strict actions in accordance
with the law against Malik Riaz, his son-in-law Salman and Arsalan Iftikhar.

Following this, the Attorney General also said that he may send the case to the National Accountability Bureau, however, according to the NAB chairman, the nature of the case is like that it does not fall under his office jurisdiction.
