However, the Nav works efficiently when the driver needs information on the nearest charging dock or the mileage. In fact, the telematics in the new Focus are quick resourceful in telling the commuter what he needs and what he has done in the name of economic driving. It actually awards marks on good driving.

Design

The design of the new car might be a bit of a pun for some. Not only is it different from the 2011 Ford Focus but the new one has quite an inspiration from a British car maker. May be it is just me but the new vehicle has a grille that prompts James Bond in Casino Royale going economical. The good thing here is that if he had this instead of an Aston Martin, he might not have flipped it over while avoiding running Eva Green over.

Apart from the grille, that might have attracted my biased opprobrium, the remainder of the car is a typical Ford Focus save some cuts and reshapes on fenders and so on so forth.

It is front wheel drive, four-door hatchback that creams out a good elegant shape for a small-footprint car. As it goes with Focus, they are good at economy and more than acceptable on speeds.

Performance

The bonnet houses an electric motor. The power train might not resemble Tesla Roadster because it is not cut out for such work but it has a drive system that teaches the owners how to drive economically, even forces them to not to engrave their foot into the pedal.
