India plans Mars space mission in 2013
India is planning a space mission to send a satellite to Mars in 2013.
The Indian rocket carrying the satellite may take off from the south-eastern coast and from there travel to Mars and enter the Red Planet’s orbit.
The programme is expected to cost a total of $80 million with India in partnership with a small group of countries already involve in exploring Mars
