The undefeated German prospect Manuel Charr is all set for the biggest fight of his career next month against Vitali Klitschko but he is confident of pulling an upset. The 27-year-old also has his eyes set on former WBA champion David Haye, as he hopes to defend the belt later on against him.

Charr, who is more commonly known as Diamond Boy, holds a perfect record of winning all of his 21 professional fights, with 11 of his wins coming by the way of a knockout. He is training day in and day out currently and perhaps this is a reason why he believes he will outclass the 6ft 7in Ukrainian giant in the ring.

“I am well prepared and looking forward to the fight of my life. I can hardly wait!” Charr told World Boxing News.

“I am sure I have the tools to hurt Vitali. I have been keeping an eye on him for ten years now and I am looking forward to finally get in the ring with him.

Charr was in the arena when Haye knocked out Dereck Chisora in the fifth round. Chisora pushed Vitali to the limits in February yet the German is not impressed with the Hayemaker.

Haye told Charr that he would fight him, if he beats Vitali and his challenge has been accepted by Charr.

“I just wanted to tell Haye that I am here and I would like to fight against him one day, so I took the opportunity, that’s it,” he explained.

“But I am having a fight on the 8th and that is what I am concentrating on. After I beat Mr. Klitschko, I will give thought to it (fighting Haye).

“All I know is I will be the next world heavyweight champion. I am training hard for this moment and am very well prepared.”

The fight between Charr and Vitali will take place on September 8 at the Olympic Indoor Arena in Moscow.

Let’s see if Manuel Charr can really shock the world by shrugging off Vitali Klitschko.
