The Supreme Court Friday expressed its dissatisfaction on the reply of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in contempt case and directed him to again submit his detailed reply till August 28.

A three-member bench with Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in the chair heard the case.

Talking to newsmen outside Supreme Court he said he had indicated that certain returning officers and staff of election commission had not played their due role of holding transparent elections.

“We have pending cases in courts against the allegations of rigging in four constituencies and their resolution will expose the corrupt elements.”

He said the PTI has already accepted the election results but want probe against rigging so that next elections are held in transparent manner. “We have pinned our hopes to Supreme Court to look into these cases.”
