Altaf Hussain Speaks Against Attacks on Hindu Temples

It was recently reported from Karachi that there were certain attacks which took place on Hindu temples that are located in Pakistan. The incident took place in Larkana where holy books were burnt as people attacked Hindu property.

The leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement party, Altaf Hussain, addressed the people from London and stated that this is strictly against the teachings of Islam to attack a temple or a religious place of any particular religion, no matter which one it is.

On Saturday, Altaf Hussain came out in the open and spoke against the attack which took place in Larkana where holy pages were burnt and violence took place in the area. He stated that this is not what Islam teaches as it is a religion of peace and prosperity.

Altaf Hussain also claimed that the Pakistani government should take strict action in order to arrest those who were responsible for these attacks. He stated that each and every person who has been involved in these attacks must be brought to justice.

Moreover, he also stated that the government should ensure the protection of these holy places and for the people who visit these places on a daily basis.
