Leonardo DiCaprio to play Steve Jobs in the new film

Leonardo DiCaprio in the role of man behind the rise of Apple? He will be playing the Apple founder Steve Jobs in a new biopic, the Sony Pictures Studios are in negotiation with the American star. The film will be directed by British director Danny Boyle.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the star actor of  blockbuster “Titanic” and the director of “Slumdog Millionaire” could well be together again, 15 years after the success of “The Beach”.

Soon a second film on the life of Apple founder IMAGES . Achton Kutcher plays Steve Jobs “Jobs”, a biopic without a name.

The film, which has no title yet, is one of the most anticipated projects in Hollywood. It was originally to be directed by David Fincher, director of “The Social Network” which recounted the journey of Mark Zuckerberg, founder of Facebook. Inspired by the bestselling biography “Steve Jobs” written by Walter Isaacson, the screenplay was written by Aaron Sorkin (who was also the writer of “The Social Network”).

But Sony and David Fincher have not been able to agree on something and so it is now Danny Boyle in favor with the studio. The commitment of Leonardo DiCaprio, desired by the director, however, is not acquired because the actor has a busy schedule this year, and must turn in September including the thriller “The Revenant” Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu of Mexican ( “Babel” “21 Grams”).

First biopic about Apple founder was released in 2012 with Ashton Kutcher in the title role. He had been a huge commercial failure with 35 million dollars in revenue around the world.
