Islamabad recently asked Kabul to handle the situation surrounding the Tehreek E Taliban chief, Mullah Fazlullah. According to ISPR DG, Fazlullah ran off to the Kunar or Nuristan region of Afghanistan and the Afghani government take an action regarding this problem. He further added that the operation that is taking place in Waziristan is going to target every single terrorist, including the Haqqanis.

The Inter Services Public Relations DG, Major General Bajwa, said that Pakistan is not discriminating while it is on war with the terrorists. He said that terrorists of all colours and hues are being killed in the operation as Pakistan cannot afford to allow anyone to use its territory against any other country.

He also spoke about the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), saying that they have made the biggest sacrifice by leaving their homes; hence they are our national heroes. He also thanked the army for providing facilities to the IDPs.

Bajwa then spoke about Fazlullah again and urged the Afghani government to take a strict action against the TTP leader. He claimed that such people are enemies to both the countries and will not do them any good; therefore their threat should be eradicated altogether.

He said, “The leader of the TTP, Mullah Fazlullah is sitting across the border in Kunar or Nuristan and Afghanistan needs to do something about it.”
