After Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled his free content access service in Pakistan, a man chose to show how thankful he was in the form of a billboard, which has been put up on one of the busiest intersections in Karachi, reportedly.

Appreciating Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for his free content access service in Pakistan, a local entrepreneur decided to rent a billboard on one of Karachi’s busiest junctions.

The billboard, which costs around 1 lakh PKR per month states, “Thank You Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook for giving free Facebook to the entire country…”

While speaking to a media outlet, the entrepreneur who put up the billboard, Mr. Rehan Allahwala, stated that the billboard was part of his “offline social media” initiative, something he will be using more often to increase awareness in the masses about developments in the country.

According to him, there is generally no appreciation for people who are doing good work, and his move to use a billboard to thank Mark Zuckerberg is aimed at changing this trend.

The free content access service,, reportedly gives people access to major websites and portals free of cost, including Accuweather, BBC, Cricinfo, Mustakbil, Unicef, ESPN, Bing, Facebook, OLX and Wikipedia.
