The war on terror cannot be won by bullets only, says Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan, has said that the US-led war against terrorism has cost Pakistan more than any other ally and has stressed that Pakistan is not in a position to further participate in it.

While talking to a foreign TV channel, the PTI chief revealed that the use of force is not a promise to sort out all the issues. “The war on terror cannot be won by bullets only”, he said.

 Imran then went on to add that Pakistan is not in a position to continue supporting the US-led war on terror anymore, as the collateral damage caused by this war has increased extremism in the country.

The former Pakistani cricketer also added that he wants the military to work within its constitutional limits and refrain from the policy of controlling the politicians.

He also stressed that Pakistanis, like the people in Middle East, have risen against the ‘family mafia’ and status quo.

After consistently urging the other politicians to reveal their assets, the PTI chief revealed that he has revealed all of his assets and property and stressed that he would quit politics if his declaration of assets are proven wrong.
