Corey Taylor, lead vocalist of Slipknot and Stone Sour, has revealed that he is excited about the historic reunion of Black Sabbath, an English heavy Metal band, just like as the other Sabbath fans.

After months of speculation, Black Sabbath lead guitarist, Tony Iommi, revealed that the band will officially reunite and launch an album late in 2012 while doing a string of European tours.

The British band will be seen once again in their original line-up that consists of Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and Iommi after 33 years.

The Black Sabbath’s reunion news has excited all the Heavy Metal fans and Slipknot’s lead vocalist is also among them.

“I am pretty stoked. It’s their first full album in 33 years”, Taylor said while giving an interview to a journalist.

Although the slipknot’s front-man was not happy to work with Rick Rubin on his band’s third studio album, he has asserted that the veteran musicians will work along with Rubin quite well.

“This is one of those instances I actually think Rick Rubin is perfect for. He gets out of the way and will let them get down to it. I can only hope they record it in the right way. I can only hope they get to do something righteous and not just something
to make a buck”

“I think with Geezer and Tony pushing it forward, and, obviously, Bill and Ozzy, I think it will be fantastic. I am looking forward to riff fest”, Taylor concluded.

The new Black Sabbath’s studio album is expected to be released by the end of 2012.
