Intel’s third-gen Ivy Bridge processors: What effect do they have on Pakistani market? – Part 2

Moreover, the new processors have new integrated graphics cards, HD4000. Though they might not be at par with NVIDIA GeForce graphics GPUs but they are efficient in processing general visuals and even high-end graphics-hungry applications like Adobe Photoshop.

When it comes to graphics, these laptops are high-end. Though they might not be able to manage graphics-intensive games at native resolutions and details at full blast but they will handle mid-level games with efficiency. Even some high-end games with tweaks to their graphic details and resolution showed promising results.

HD4000 graphics are not exclusive to Core i7 processors. Rather the good thing about this line of processors is that every circuit has the same graphics integration.

NVIDIA has also launched their top-of-the-line graphics cards, that PC manufacturers are milking at the moment. Though there is not much difference in prices, the overall cost coupled with new Ivy Bridge processors has been brought down, that is good for gamers who crave NVIDIA’s efficient circuitry.

These new laptops and desktops would bring great deals to computer users in the Pakistani community. Though they haven’t officially arrived in Pakistan, many computer vendors do import latest and greatest electronics gadgets on demand. If someone is looking for a high-end gaming laptops, now is the time. However, if you are looking for something for general computing and occasional gaming, wait until Intel releases Core i5s and i3s.

Another great news for computer users is that Apple is also expected to churn the Ivy Bridge efficiency in their MacBook Pro and Air line of notebooks. These laptops will have makeover in shape and the prices might also see a change in the latter half of the year. This is good for Applephiles who were tired of the same MacBooks for the last two years.
