Shazam predicts the hits of 2013

If the worldly known search engines provide the most searched topics and people each year, Shazam, a renowned song ID service, displays the artists who will succeed in the world next year.

Shazam has analyzed the impact on the Internet and all available information of the most outstanding artists and compared it with their own charts, indicating preferences of the respective fans.

Combining all data, Shazam has predicted that media artists in 2013 will be the rapper French Montana , author of Pop
That, Bei Maejor , the London band Aluna George , Joey Bada, the poppy Becky G , the author rapper of New York , Angel Haze , the duo Rhye, rapper Tito Lopez, Baauer and Haim.

In the year just absolute success is for the song “Somebody I Used to Know” by Gotye, which has been tagged nearly 15 million times worldwide and the mesmerizing song which
topped the charts in Spain.

This year Shazam recorded a total of 130 songs that received more than one million tags, three of which got that figure in 2011.

In Spain, the most popular artists have been Gotye, Adele, Rihanna, Flo Rida, the badalonés LMFAO, David Guetta, Fun and Jose Lima Gusttavo Rico. You have to fall to 27th place to find the famous Pablo Alborán, ten places below
the Latin Paulina Rubio.

"More than 85% of the songs that reached number one in the Shazam tag lists become nationally successful," explains Will Mills, director of music and content of Shazam. "We are becoming one of the tools of prediction to be more
precise."

Soon, the major search engine, Google, and the YouTube library will publish their results about the same music feed.
