Apple set to launch new iPad with double storage capacity

According to a source close to the company, Apple has officially announced that it will double the storage capacity of its iPad tablet up to 128 gigabytes, as reported by Reuters, the double of its
current models.

Apple, which has sold 120 million tablets for two years, has reported that the models with this capability be launched on February 5, in white and black, $ 799 for the cheapest model, with Wi-Fi, and 929 3G carrying dollars.

The announcement is not usual in the communication policy of Apple as they often concentrate on two major news events throughout the year (three in the latter), while the rest of the year can live with rumours about their
products, allowing their brand to create a surprise expectations to their respective users.

This announcement if increasing the capacity increase may indicate that the sales of their last tablet have fallen following the small iPad Mini, as had been published in some polls and analysis of investment banks.
