Arsalan Iftikhar case is a conspiracy to blackmail Chief Justice: Imran

Lahore: (Wednesday, June 13, 2012) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan said today that Arsalan Iftikhar case in which the chief justice’s son was allegedly involved in corruption, was an attempt to conspire against and
blackmail the Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.

Talking to journalists here today, Khan said that the case was only a conspiracy by the land mafia of Pakistan against the independent judiciary of the country.

He further added that the conspiracy was intended to obstruct working of the judiciary which has started giving relief to the common and most vulnerable sections of the society.

PTI chief also said that his party will play its role to unveil this conspiracy.
