Raja Pervaiz given premiership to serve Zardari

Faisalabad: (Wednesday, June 27, 2012) Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, Imran Khan said here today that Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was made Prime Minister of Pakistan to serve Zardari, and not to serve the people of Pakistan.

Staging a rally here against price hike, rampant corruption and loadshedding, that marched from District Council to Ghantaghar Chowk, the rally was attended by a large number of people. Among the prominent PTI leaders, besides
others, Javed Hashmi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Imran Khan marked their presence at the event.

During his address to the rally, Imran said that during the present regime, the prices have soared skyward while amid absence of electricity and gas, large factories and manufacturing units witnessed closure. All this was rendering
hundreds of thousands of labourers jobless.

While asking the students, traders and labourers to stay prepared for a long march to Islamabad, Imran said that the government could not be allowed any more time.

Criticizing Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif, he accused him of waging into a sham fight with the government. He asked Nawaz Sharif, “Tell me what steps did you take in four years for addressing the power
crisis issue?”

Imran also asked Nawaz to provide details as to how much electricity dues stood outstanding against his textile mills.
