Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi on Tuesday said that his party would not allow anyone to delay or postpone the general elections.

Talking to a party delegation, Hashmi was of the opinion that the PTI had changed the political scenario of the country. In his view, the scenario is terrifying the corrupt political class and it is using delaying tactics to postpone the upcoming polls.

He noted, “Tsunami of change would begin from South Waziristan Agency (SWA) and those areas where innocent population and their lifelong belongings are ruined to please the United States”.

Javed Hashmi said that the PPP and PML-N were equally responsible for the all crises the country is being faced in the recent times.

The two parties are depriving the masses from their two-time meal causing insecurity to their lives, he added.

He stated, “Masses are fed up of sitting political parties due to their self-directed policies and their all hopes were attached with PTI”.

Hashmi, the former leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), further said that the PTI would bring a real change in politics after coming into power.

It would not only resolve the prevailing crises but would also lead the country towards development and growth, he pledged.

Moreover, the PTI President was of the opinion that the differences between the PPP and PML-N were not of serious nature and they could share power in the upcoming setup.

He observed, “The rulers are willing to postpone the polls to save themselves from accountability but it was not acceptable and the PTI would foil every conspiracy in this connection”.

Hashmi stated the Sharif Brother were his election workers in the past before coming politics, adding that change was the writing on the wall and his party would emerge successful in the upcoming elections.

“Imran Khan will be the premier of the country if the PTI attains majority in the elections, otherwise we will sit on opposition benches”, he added.

It was only the captain who decided to visit the areas where drone attacks are taking lives of innocent Pakistanis; he said adding that such assaults are attack on integrity of the country.
