Though Google closed down many of its European subsidiaries (including the Spanish) and although they sold their assets in China by acquiring Motorola patents,
Google wants to finally make a high-end mobile themselves.

X Phone is the name by which, according to The Wall Street Journal , internally called this project which will be released in 2013 and will put Google
as a manufacturer in equation with Apple and Samsung, leaders of the market with iPhone and Galaxy respectively.

Seven months after acquiring Motorola, the company that invented the mobile phone, by 12,500 million dollars, are working to manufacture a screen capable of bending, a feature that until now had been presented lately by Samsung.

One aspect that they intend to enhance is the camera, not only to save time, but also for location-based applications and image editing.

Dennis Woodside, executive sales of Motorola, said the financial environment that has already created a team led by Lior Ron, originally maps team to develop a mobile pointer.

"It’s about doing something different, regardless of how it was thought until now," he explained.

Android already has more market share than Apple smart phones, but Google has lost relevance in the field of equipment. Samsung has 40.3%, 6.9% HTC, Sony 6.4%, while Motorola will have to settle for 4% according
to data from IDC.
