Ervin Anthony and Robert Pavoni pocketed gold medals of the Men’s 50m freestyle and 400m Individual Medley (IM) respectively at the 2013 British International.

Anthony enjoyed a half body length lead over his closest competitor and cruised his way towards the finishing end for gold medal by producing an effort of 22.28 seconds.

The champion was chased by Proud Benjamin, who stayed 0.44 seconds apart and surfaced on the finishing end for silver medal by touching the wall with the timing of 22.72 seconds.

The silver medallist was trailed by Jasper Van Mierlo, who remained only an inch behind and finished his race in third place by producing a time of 22.91 seconds.

The third best finisher was traced by Kane Haggett, who was 0.05 seconds slower from his former finisher and clocked an effort of 22.96 seconds for fourth place.

Fifth best spot of the race was gained by Bushell Andrew, who was 0.07 seconds slower from his former finisher and posted a time of 23.03 seconds.

On the other hand, Pavoni occupied the title of distant IM discipline. Pavoni remained one and a half body length ahead of his closest competitor and tapped the wall for first position with a timing of 4 minutes and 19.23 seconds.

The first position holder was traced by Matthew Johnson, who stayed 1.73 seconds apart and stepped on the finishing end for silver medal by clocking a time of 4 minutes and 20.96 seconds.

The silver medallist was followed by Max Litchfield, who stayed 0.49 seconds apart and surfaced on the finishing end for third position by producing an effort of 4 minutes and 21.44 seconds.

Fourth fastest spot of the race was obtained by Xavier Mohammed of Co Cardiff, who was 0.37 seconds behind and tapped the wall with the timing of 4 minutes and 22.81 seconds.

Fifth position of the race was obtained by Thomas Haffield, who was exactly one second behind and clocked a time of 4 minutes and 23.81 seconds.

In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades for their notable efforts after the session.
