Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday called the Israeli brutal atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza Strip as genocide asking the world to urgently stop the Israel’s naked aggression.

Nawaz Sharif in a statement that these crimes against innocent civilians, women children and elderly, were unparalleled in the recent history of the world.

“I am saddened and disappointed to note the silence of international community against this injustice,” said Nawaz Sharif.  “The silence and ineffectiveness of Muslim Ummah has made Palestinians more vulnerable and made Israel more aggressive,” Prime Minister added. “World must stop Israel from this naked and brutal aggression.”

At least 200 people have lost their lives during the past eight days of shelling by Israeli armed forces including 30 children. One causality in Israel resulting from the rocket launched from Gaza strip has been reported today.

Israeli Prime Minister has pledged to intensify and expand the military offensive on Gaza Strip after Hamas refused to agree to a truce plan proposed by Egypt as it did not include easing the blockade of the Gaza Strip.

Hamas also wants Israel to free Palestinians it rearrested after releasing them in a 2011 exchange for an Israeli soldier held by Gaza militants for more than five years.

Hamas official claimed that they were not even provided with the official text of the truce agreement so it is rejected as is.

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier urged Hamas to accept the Egyptian proposed truce plan and alleged that Hamas has held Gaza hostage.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, however, said that Israel is to be blamed for the current situation in Gaza by carrying out “state terrorism” and a “massacre” of Palestinians in Gaza Strip.

Israel is now also considering ground invasion to further weaken the “terror group”.
