Imran Khan starts civil disobedience in Pakistan

Imran Khan has announced starting the civil disobedience in Pakistan while talking to to his supporters in Islamabad on August 17, 2014. He has asked his supporters to stop paying taxes, and utility bills with immediate effect. He gave 48 hours deadline to Nawaz Sharif to step down.

Imran Khan said that Allah has blessed his with every things in the life and he is only taking this step of civil disobedience is for the whole nation.

He quoted from Quran that Allah has destroyed many nations in the world for accepting system of injustice and oppression.

Imran Khan said that we will continue our civil disobedience movement till the incumbent government steps down.

Imran Khan said that his supporters wants to attack the Prime Minister House but he does not want them to do that as it will create anarchy in the country.

He asked Nawaz Sharif that for God sake step down as Prime Minister otherwise my supporters will treat him very badly which I want to do.

He gave seven days to Prime Minister to resign from the government. However, later said only 48 hours ultimatum is given to Nawaz Sharif to leave the power.

    Thank God he did not win 2013 elections. He had exposed himself. Few thousand people cannot decide fate of the country in this way…
