Imran follows Zardari and Nawaz’s lines on Kashmir and relations with India

Recently, while giving interview to a senior Indian journalist Karan Thapar, Imran Khan, the chairperson of Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaaf also went on to produce some unpopular rhetoric. Although his fans are declaring his comments as rational, but this rationality
is feared to setback the struggle of Kashmiri people all over again.

Although initially Imran had been considered as a right wing politician, and a vast majority of the country still grants him this status, but, amid his standing on the blasphemy law and relations with India, the liberal circles and leftist have also started
perceiving him a beacon of hope and an agent of the promised change.

However, as far his interview with the Indian journalist is concerned, there are no two opinions about the fact it left majority of his followers hurt.

Relations with India must be brought to normal and a friendly and cogent attitude must be maintained, however not on the cost of the vows of Kashmiri people.

India has never tried to hide its grudge against Pakistan. It has been heavily investing in promoting terrorism in the country and striving for its destabilization. Although Pakistan is suffering from the disease of terrorism, but it is not even a part of
the state terrorism India is promoting and maintaining in Kashmir.

Imran has always been known as a brave politician; definitely he will go for having a relation with its eastern neighbour that will be based on equal status. However, for doing popular politics, he must not opt for the lines that are aimed at pleasing the
liberal fascists.

While giving interview to Thapar, Imran was asked about banning Khidmat-e Khalaq foundation as well. Imran, without realizing that it was not a terrorist group, but was a humanitarian organization conceded that he would opt to ban it as well if will become
the prime minister of the country.

This definitely was a hurting statement for the millions of people who have benefited from the charitable work of the organization and who stand witness to the fact that it has nothing to do with the terrorist activities. To conclude with, I would say that
Imran Khan should definitely work to uproot terrorist from Pakistan, but it should be based upon the indigenous sense of judgment, and not on the dictation from India and the USA.
