Lenovo set to defeat HP in home computing

There is little arguing to the statement that HP is no longer the world’s largest manufacturer of computers. According to a survey, which says it has 15.5% of the market compared to
15.7% of China’s Lenovo.

However, some reports suggest that HP’s profit margin is ahead of the Chinese brand in the technology sector.

It would be the first time that HP are about to lose their leadership in six years. The United State’s company are going through a bad sector as their stock that has fallen 45% of its total value since the beginning
of the year.

Their downfall is also subjected to the change of CEO and doubts about the sale of the PC division are increasing after the arrival of Meg Whitman at the helm.

As the users seek Ultrabooks and notebooks as a potential replacement for space-occupying heavy machine, the multinational company has decided to keep their focus on the growing trends in the market rather than to waste their
time in backing the old technology.

Users have become more accustomed to the table over the last few years. The tablet has everything in it with fast speed including new operating systems like Windows 8. World’s third largest seller, Dell,
and the fourth top seller, Acer, also have been losing sales and market share recently.

"There is great hope in the first half of the year there was a market rebound. Now with three quarters of last year and the season of the beginning of the school, we do not. ‘Forecasts also chipmakers
Intel and AMD are flat." said Craig Stice, an analyst at IHS.

“There was great hope through the first half that 2012 would prove to be a rebound year for the PC market,”

Now three quarters through the year, the usual boost from the back-to-school season appears to be a bust, and both AMD and Intel’s third-quarter outlooks appear to be flat to down. Optimism has vanished and
turned to doubt, and the industry is now training its sights on 2013 to deliver the hoped-for rebound."
Craig Stice, senior principal analyst for computer systems at IHS, was quoted as saying.

And while IHS has predicted a significant downfall of the PC industry for the first time in 11 glowing years at the end of 2012, selling computers in the world will be reduced.
