Apple’s upcoming iPhone: It can be the fastest smartphone and it should be – Part 2

However, given the fact that iOS environment is closely inspected and is way faster than Android, Apple might give a green signal to dual-core processing units with 4G LTE capabilities. One way or the other, the new iPhone will be a faster phone if LTE is included into the equation like the new third generation iPad.

The battery life is also expected to receive a boost in the new handset. The current processors used in the iPad and iPhone have 45-nanometer silicon chips that consume more battery life in addition to limitations on wireless connectivity, in new iPad’s case only 4G LTE. The 32-nanometer chips churn more power consuming the same amount of energy but still have restrictions on wireless compatibilities.

Samsung is using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon dual-core processors with 28-nanometer processors that have support for LTE, but SIII dual-core version only supports 4G. Apple might word a different angle on wireless technology. Apple will almost surely use Qualcomm’s MDM9615, which combines support for every network a phone could need — including LTE – on a single 28-nanometer part.

LTE speeds will bring the use of iTunes and App Store to an entirely new level. Faster downloads will surely tempt users to install more apps and use internet-based software more frequently like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and of course YouTube.

Whether Apple brings in a dual-core processor with 4G capabilities or brings in an entirely new technology to merge both quad-core processing and LTE, it has lesser options this time around. Just like iPhone, Galaxy SIII has now become a global brand that every tech-savvy user wants. The new technology makes it possible for Apple to bring 4G LTE to its smartphone and the new turn in the competition spares not many choices for Apple to digress from it.
