What to expect of unexpected Apple, Inc. in 2012 – Part 2

First off is the television that has been in the news since Jobs mentioned it to Walter Isaacson, who wrote Jobs’ biography. The co-founder of Apple was quoted in the book saying: "I’d like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to
use. It would be seamlessly synched with all of your devices and with iCloud. It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it."

However, several news suggest that the television will not surface in the market until the last quarter of 2012, maybe in 2013 although Apple has allegedly contacted Sharp for display panels. 2012 or the year after, it is now confirmed that Apple will certainly
decorate living rooms in addition to stuffing the side pockets and shoulder bags.

Moreover, the Mac Pro line of desktops is rumoured to be totally replaced or discarded as iMac, iMac Mini and Macbook Pro have gouged a large market share from it. Apple itself has cannibalized its Mac Pro market with insane range of new products.

The reason why this line has not yet seen any cutbacks is perhaps it represents the history of the company, when they pioneered the concept of personal computing back in late 80s. In addition, the Pro line still provides tech geeks and professionals of all
industries with beefed up powerhouses that are capable of handling high graphics and top notch sound systems, in addition to efficient processors.

As for iPhone, it is again circled by the speculations and anticipations. The most important are a bigger screen, thinner chassis and something out of the ordinary to blow the brains out. However, in recent telltales, the Siri has been targeted. It is expected
that the new edition of the phone will have an upgraded assistant that is compatible with applications other than of Apple partners, Wolfram Alpha and Yelp. Furthermore, the developers are all ears to hear an announcement of opening Siri’s source code to integrate
their apps with this lady-with-a-voice.

In other news, Apple might ditch Google Maps to incorporate their own software. They have already acquired C3 Technologies—specialist of mind boggling 3D graphics (polygonal)—in addition to two other companies that concentrate on mapping tech.
