Malala Yousafzai; a brave national hero

Wednesday, October 10th, 2012 3:01:23 by

Someone brilliantly exposed the mentality of attackers who shot Malala Yousafzai in the head, “To shoot a little girl in the head, inside your heart and soul must be dead.”

Fourteen-year-old Malala Yousafzai, who was awarded the National Peace Award, was injured in a firing incident on Tuesday when she was on her way home from school.

She is the girl who showed the world the ugly face of the Taliban who took over the Swat valley in 2009.

She earned fame for her struggle and regarding what had happened in Swat valley and how Taliban had inflicted damage on the education sector by blowing up dozens of educational institutions.

She maintained a diary during the dark Taliban rule in Swat, detailing their misdeeds, brutality towards girls and women, broad day murders by hanging the people disobeying them.

Later, her diary was published by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and this was the cause the Taliban were after her for a long time, and on Tuesday, they got the opportunity to take revenge on an innocent girl.

This tragic incident raised many questions about peace in Swat, the area cleared by army a couple of years ago.

Those who attacked Malala have shown time and again how little regard they have for human life and how low they can fall in their cruel ambition to impose their twisted ideology.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) not only immediately accepted the responsibility but also said will target her again if she survives. Apparently, the latest incident shows that enemy is still alive and remains brutal as ever.

The attack on Malala also poses a big question to those who want to hold dialogues or deals with the terrorists.

Malala Yousafzai is in critical condition today, and so is the country. We are infected with the cancer of militancy and Pakistan will slide even further into the bestiality that this latest atrocity represents unless we take solid steps to stop it.

We must salute to courageous daughter of Pakistan, Malala Yousafzai, and pray for her health, safety and unite ourselves for continuation of her innocent but beautiful dreams regarding girls’ education and rooting out of terrorism from our motherland.

I thought she had passed away, hearing this although tragic give me hope that she will pull through and survive, and hopefully she will be pulled to safety somewhere, so that she may continue to live out her life and to inspire people as she has. Absolutely brave young girl and so angering and tragic that she would be a target to anyone.

  3. Malala Yousafzai SHOULD NOT BE EXPLIOTED MORE BY BBC OR PRINT/ELECTRONIC MEDEA. SHE IS REALLY TOO YOUNG TO BECOME THE BEAUTY OF NEWS.

How It Happend After A Successive Military Opertion In Swat.
    From Where The Attacker Come?

  5. I agree with Triklops, Malala is a brave young soul who is wise beyond her years. Its shameful that such an atrocity could be carried out against someone (a child, at that) who fights for the basic right of girls to have an education. This is what should be seen as “blasphemous”. This is what needs to spark global outrage. Please visit this page and show your support.

Malala the evil ones are afraid of you becasue you told the truth….they are afraid of women becoming educated and demanding they be treated with dignity and respect. Its time for the moderate muslims to clean their own house of the taliban dogs…clean you own house all good people and let the west embrace you with love and support and freedom. The taliban have shown that they are uneducated dogs and need to be exterminated…Let the good people unite together and clean their own house…and let us all live in peace and mutual respect and treat each other ass we would like to be treated ourselves…
