Apple to release two tablets in 2011 – Part 1

Apple, Inc. is in the thick of rumours once again. Although the company is not expected to launch any major products at the Consumer Electronic Show 2012 edition, there are numerous telltales surrounding their building in Cupertino, especially regarding
their tablet.

The original iPad was launched in 2010 and right away the device became a target of serious criticism from tech gurus that what a flop will it be. However, the slate made record sales in the first quarter after its launch and successfully pioneered a new
segment in the technology industry.

The segment was considered to be populated by only Apple in the start but to everybody’s surprise the device became so much popular that every other actor on the stage was forced to pull the same act to remain in the scene.

Last year, Apple announced a successor to the slate named iPad 2. Although there was no need for another tablet from the company as the original iPad was enjoying the unbeatable success. However, the new iPad kept running the hot streak of popularity and
gained the confidence of not only readers but also developers and gaming enthusiasts. The iPad 2 still remains the king of the tablet world with an 80 percent market share combined with the predecessor.

Now that New Year has commenced, all eyes are once again fixed at Cupertino to unleash the next generation of the tablet. As it goes with the tradition, the new iPad is expected to honour the stage in March. However, the latest development in news has two
telltales to amuse the audience.

According to some credible sources, the company is expected to launch two separate models of the iPad this year. The first one will surface in March as usual and next will succeed it in latter half of the year, presumably in October.
